Principal of Disco and Rock 'N' Roll
Bonnie first started dancing at the age of 5 with Iris Barnes school of dance. She started to help with baby classes in tap and modern at the age of 11, which then led on to her doing more classes in disco rock n roll and ballet. Whilst participating in her own classes, helping with the younger classes and taking part in disco and rock n roll competitions across the country, with the I.S.T.D, Bonnie decided at a young age that dancing and her love for it would lead to her career.
Whilst acting with the Portsmouth Youth Theatre where she studied a little in singing and acting, Bonnie also danced in many Pantomimes at the Kings Theatre. By the age of 16 Bonnie decided she wanted to become a Disco and Rock n Roll teacher where she went onto train for her teachers qualification, with the help of Karen, Bobbie Anisley and Heather Keel.
Bonnie passed her A.I.S.T.D teachers qualification exam at the age of 24 and once qualified decided it was time for a new challenge. After being introduced to Sheridan at Dance Divas by Bobbie Ainsley, I brought new styles of dance to their school and have thoroughly enjoyed watching the school grow from strength to strength. We as a team have an amazing time at the school and are looking forward to what the future has in store for us.

Since leaving school Lyndsay has travelled the world performing in various cabaret shows and also performing in a Tribute to Riverdance. Lyndsay continues to develop her own knowledge and still ensures her students receive the best possible dance training.
Commercial Teacher and Juvenile Street Teacher
From age 5-15, Sam trained as an acrobatic gymnast and competed regularly at national level. Being balletically thrown into the air and winning awards for it gave her a strong sense of performance, discipline and physicality. Sam left gymnastics 10 years later and began her dancing career in school and quickly found herself training 6 days a week at a local dance school, and through various youth projects & companies.
Sam went on to college where she studied A Level Dance, Advanced Dance and BTEC National Certificate in Dance. She was part of the gifted and talented dance company called Pivotal and worked with dancers from professional companies such as Random Dance Comapny by Wayne McGregor. Sam excelled in all her subjects at college level and landed herself a place at Chichester University, where she studied Contemporary Dance for three years gaining an upper 2:1 degree. Sam was part of the third year company, 3Fall, and toured nationally.
To expand her experience and unlock new opportunities, she moved to London to work and train as a professional dancer. Sam worked for 'Groundwerx' founder Donna Mierediercks as part of a dance management/funding company, this brought her closer to international choreographers such as Jean Abreu and Jorge Crecis whom she worked with frequently inside and outside of the studio. Much as Sam enjoys performing, her heart has always been in teaching. She has worked with children for the past 9 years and has experience in teaching able and non-able bodies. Sam has been working very hard to gain her qualifications with the ISTD and received ‘Highly Commended’ for her associate exam with the vice chairman of the DFR committee. Sam loves teaching at Dance Divas and has been teaching Commercial/Street for nearly a year now, she looks forward to many more years with Divas!
Disco and Rock "N" Roll Teacher
Ashleigh has attended Dance Divas since the school first opened in 2004. Whilst attending Dance Divas as a student, she has completed examinations in numerous dance techniques such as: Disco, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Ballet and tap, as well as performing in our annual shows. She has also auditioned and been chosen as a dancer in the Kings Theatre yearly pantomime, which many of our students continue to do. Before qualifying as an I.S.T.D Disco Freestyle associate, Ashleigh was a regular competitor in Disco and Rock ‘n’ Roll, being a part of the first established Dance Divas senior team.
As our newest member in the teachers’ panel, she helps train our current team of competitors, working on solos, pairs and also assisting in the choreography of teams. Outside of Dance Divas, Ashleigh is currently in her final year at De Montfort University, studying a BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Dance, where she has performed in international dance festivals and participated in workshops with critically acclaimed current dance artists such as Motion House. She hopes to bring her newly gained knowledge and professional relationships to Dance Divas, in the hope of continuing to contribute to the success of the school.

Faye has attended dance lessons from a very young age, where she has trained in many styles, such as; disco freestyle, rock ‘n’ roll, tap, modern and jazz. Faye started attending Dance Divas as a student in 2011 where she completed her exams in disco freestyle and Rock ‘n’ roll. This led her on to achieving the position of an I.S.T.D disco freestyle associate teacher in 2015. Faye has taken part in regular competitions and annual dance shows since a young age and is now using this experience to pass onto our current competitors and dancers.
She has performed alone and as part of a team for many years and is now helping to train our dancers and create routines for solos, pairs, teams and exams. Faye has also appeared on the Kings theatre stage several times with local theatre company's as both a dancer and a young actress, which is influencing our dancers to be diverse and attend auditions in the area. Alongside her teaching at Dance Divas, Faye is also in her final year at The University of Chichester completing a BA (Hons) degree in Dance, where she studies many styles of contemporary and ballet. Faye hopes to contribute to the knowledge of our dancers by keeping them up to date on the dance world and providing them with the knowledge she has gained from her training.
